Jane Reece (1868–1961) was a highly acclaimed American photographer and a central figure in the early 20th-century art scene.

Between 1919 and 1923 Jane Reece traveled extensively, for a brief time setting up a studio in Paris.

In 1922 Jane went to Paris, returning in 1923 to open her fourth studio in the Chateau Apartments.

On returning to Dayton in 1924 she had a permanent studio built on Riverside Avenue, which housed exhibits, concerts, and a music/dance studio.

Before her death, she donated a massive archive of 400 prints to the Dayton Art Institute.
