Alma Isabel Chaplin was born on October 19, 1889 in Lincoln (near St. Catharines) Ontario to William John Chaplin and Mary Elizabeth Chaplin (born Aiken).
William was born on May 1 1855, in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada.
Mary was born on April 15 1856, in Antrim, Ireland.
Her father, W. J. Chaplin, was a prominent resident of St. Catharines.
She married Edwin Hugh Wright on September 4, 1915. [Edward Edwin Hugh] Wright was secretary-treasurer of the Welland Vale Company.
