Lester Kusworm was born on September 11, 1886. He died in February 1970 at age 83. Lester Kusworm had been residing in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.

In1911, Lester Kusworm opened West Side Furniture Company at 1124 West Third Street.

Corinne Kusworm was born on January 11, 1887. She died in December 1973 at 86 years of age.

Lester and Corinne S. Kusworm were prominent community leaders, philanthropists, and active members of the Jewish community in Dayton, Ohio, during the 20th century.

They are best remembered for their extensive civic involvement, dedication to Jewish fraternal organizations, and lasting contributions to local arts and religious institutions.

Corinne S. Kusworm was an avid patron of the fine arts. Following her death in 1974, her estate left a substantial Bequest of Corinne S. Kusworm to the Dayton Art Institute, which significantly enriched the museum’s permanent photography collection with works from legendary pictorialist photographers like Jane Reece.
