Caroline Armington produced three etchings for Mr. and Mrs. Albert N. Connet (CA-452, CA-454 and CA-481).
Albert N. Connett Jr. was a prominent American expatriate, investment banker, and social figure living in Paris during the interwar era.
Albert N Connett, Jr. Born in Delight, Kansas, USA on 1886 to Albert N. Connett and Theodora Speir. Albert N. Jr. married Louise Palmer Sherwood.
Connett Jr. moved to France following World War I. Throughout the 1920s and into the early 1930s, he lived in Paris while working as an executive officer for the Guaranty Trust Company of New York's Paris branch.
He and his wife, Louise Sherwood Hegeler, were prominent fixtures in the American expatriate community in France.
In 1932, his wife was elected as the 1st Vice-President of FAWCO (Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas) during a historic convention in Berlin, representing the Paris club.
